It's about more than the DNA
For inclusion in the DNA barcoding baseline database we need collections that include as a minimum:
- preserved tissue (silica gel dried or freeze dried)
- herbarium specimens preferably with reproductive structures
- locality data (including GPS)
In some cases we may be able to provide collection kits. Contact us for more details.
